Mortality

I just got word that one of my second cousins just died (our grandparents were siblings).  She was four yours younger than I.

Oh.  Wow.  Kind of gives you a shiver.  My grandmother's generation is long past, my mom's generation is almost gone, and now mine is starting to pass away.  My cousins and I are now at the head of the line.  So soon?

Rest in peace, Deb.  Your life was far too short.
