Addendum: I've decided to replace the centers of the gold stars with green squares. Six done so far, 22 to go. It's tedious, but I like the results.

I think for your quilt the green centers work better.
I think if you want to use the green squares, they should go on the other blocks. The green strings with "flow" though the ohio blocks that way. I still like it with the red squares best though! ;-)
It's great either way. Your color choices are terrific. And different from any other I've seen. Good job!
