This is what happens when your husband sleeps late and you are left rattling around the house all morning alone. In defense, I cut it out last night and it only took about 2 1/2 hours to put together, including a breakfast break. It's all Thimbleberries and the printed blocks come from the "Lazy Crazy Quilt" group from a few years ago. I would love to find the fabric from that group printed like a crazy quilt to use for the backing. If anyone out there has a 60" length to spare, please contact me. I would love to buy it from you.
NEWS FLASH!! I just found the fabric and ordered it online from a quilt shop in Baton Rouge. Isn't the internet wonderful?

This is gorgeous. How do you make them so quickly?! I am way impressed. Do you sell these? I have a baby shower coming up in April I'd LOVE a quilt for.
As always, I am in awe of how productive you are! This may be my favorite of all your quilts!
Jan - thanks for the comments and info! I really appreciate the help! I was thinking of that and talked to my neighbors about it. But I kind of don't have ANY sewing experience or a sewing machine or even a needle for that matter. lol! I've always wanted one, but my plan is to create a craft room and THEN get one. Can't buy one if I don't have room for it! Haha.
Thanks again. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Katie,
I have never had a dedicated sewing room - wished for one, but it never worked out. I sew on the kitchen table. Luckily I have a spare closet to store all the fabric and supplies. The point is, if you want to sew, jump in there. Any table can be your sewing room. Hancock's had some nice Janome sewing machines on sale. Am I tempting you?
I love this quilt. And everything you make. What a neat blog.
